📝 How to Make Adjectives Negative (Polite)

There are two main types of adjectives in Japanese: い-adjectives and な-adjectives. Each has its own way to make the negative form in polite speech.

Type	Negative Pattern	Example	Usage
い-adjective	[adjective stem] + くないです	たかいです → たかくないです	For adjectives ending in い, drop い and add くないです for polite negative.
な-adjective	[adjective] + じゃないです	しずかです → しずかじゃないです	For な-adjectives, add じゃないです for polite negative.
